Specification of some Items and how to get the most out of a tool

ITEM # 09
A/P FORCEPS WITH GROOVE IN JAW

A little practice is all it takes to learn how to use the tools.    ¦¦¦‰

IMPORTANT

1.      Begin with the forceps jaws closed, "NOT LOCKED"

2.      Start EXACTLY as shown in the first illustration with line riding in the groove around the tip of the forceps.

3.      Hold the line "FIRMLY" between her thumb and forefinger. Tension must be kept on the line so that it remains in the "GooROOVE".

4.              Leave ½ inch of line end exposed so you can grab it with jaws of the forceps.

Start with large flies and heavy tippets for practice.  If your like me this writing means beans to me i need Drawings or something>

TEM # 27-28-29 ( PCN6X, PBH55X, C85CX)       3-PLIERS

All  pliers are ideal for fresh and saltwater anglers, and heat-treated stainless steel side cutters make quick work on monofilament and light wire. The aggressive jaws design has two grooves for pressing down barbs and crimping leader sleeves. PVC handles for comfortable gripping.

ITEM #5 (Upmqua)                Whip Finish Tool

The loop is used to make a finishing knot on the head of a fly when tying flies. The loop is laid parallel to the hook shank at the flies head, four wraps of thread are made over the loop and the hook shank, the thread is then cut and passed through the monofilament loop, and pulled under the previously made wraps and tightened to form a secure thread head ( whip-finish). The Velcro is used to tease out dubbing on a fly body. The needle is used to put head cement on the fly. or if hubby piss ya off.
